I LOVE that purse!!!! Seriously love it!!! WHen I worked in West London, the luthiers in the violin-restoration workshop clubbed together and bought me an awesome Pylonnes pen that was basically a long sardine pen!! It is rainbowy and the lid is its tail! Then another colleague bought me a sardine notepad! What I am trying to say is: Your mum is a genius!!!!! Love the Tom-style shoes though I like the philanthropic nature of the real Toms so I'd probably stick to those!!!!x
I do love the free-shoes-for-kids thing Toms does; it's fantastic to see a company giving back like that. I figure as these only cost me a fiver I can give the remaining £30-odd difference to charity, and buy a LOT of pairs of shoes. Everyone wins! :)
I will pass on your Sardine Appreciation Society compliments to my Mum :) xx
Your mum is super clever - like my mum, only she is too busy to make things for me - maybe when she retires she will start churning out stuff. She has a Clothkits doll in the wardrobe that's needed sewing together for about 5 years! Always a pleasure to see your face too, even if it is shinier than a sardine in spandex!
Teehee I love your choice of metaphor :) I have no doubt she'll be bringing you round boxes of knitted jam and patchwork cupcakes the moment she retires. xxx
video says private so won't play...am i doing something wrong?
ReplyDeleteOops - sorry- thank you for spotting that! Should be fixed now :) Hope you're having a lovely weekend x
