How's your Monday been?
I've spent all of today wearing a hat. But that's a funny story for another time. Or it will be funny, once I've fixed the reason I'm wearing a hat...
My 20,000 pageviews giveaway closed yesterday afternoon, and I am very pleased to tell you all that the person who gets to choose an item for free from my Etsy shop is the fantabulous Claire of Claireabelle Makes fame. Huzzah!!!
I am particularly pleased the random number generator picking Claire because she's a sufferer of chronic migraines. This makes me incredibly cross, because my bestie is also a migraine-sufferer and they are THE WORST (migraines, not migraine sufferers. Migraine sufferers are lovely people who wear very nice dresses).
Also, I have just found out she once made coffee for Johnny Depp, and I'm hoping she secretly kept the mug in some sort of petri dish to preserve his DNA, and will let me get in on her plan to grow an army of Depps. Fingers crossed!
Let's all have a little boogie for Claire (and because Mondays need a little boogie)
Sorry to those of you that didn't win; I'll be hosting another giveaway soon, promise! And in the meantime you can always buy your very own octopus mug to make your life all the more underwatery :)

Hi Katie, I assume that the hat wearing is to do with bleach rather than snow?! I've nominated you for a Liebster blog award my dear, pop over to mine to see how to join in! x
ReplyDeleteIt was indeed :) That's really sweet of you thanks; I've actually been nominated before but I'm a big fan of answering all the interesting questions! xxx
DeleteCor, he was a looker wasn't he? So pretty. I realise that he is still alive and still a looker, but I'm shallow and like 'em youngish. Not Harry Styles young though, that's just wrong on every level.
ReplyDeleteHe was rather beautiful. I'm completely the same- young Depp for the win. Before he got all greasy and started wearing Elton John style shades.
DeleteYAY! Congrats again on your 20,000 page views and congrats to me for winning! Haha!
ReplyDeleteI'm very pleased and it's cheered me right up. Possibly as much as coffee making for Johnny Depp.
I must clarify, It was when I worked at Starbucks in Leicester Square and the Pirates movie premiere was on. I made coffee for him but handed to his assistant - so didn't actually get to meet or touch or smell him :-( However, it was amazeballs.
That's still pretty amazeballs. Out of interest, how did you know it was for Johnny Depp? Did his assistant burst into Starbucks yelling something like "Quick! Quick! The Most Handsome Man On The Planet is suffering a caffeine shortage!!"? :p
DeleteWell we were one of the few Starbucks at the time that asked what your name was for the cup (it was a mega busy store). When I asked the girl, she said "you're not gonna believe this, but it's for Johnny Depp - I'm his assistant" and she showed us her passes for the premiere. My colleague then proceeded to draw hearts and things on his cup.
DeleteDuring my time there, I also made coffee for Goldie, one of McFly and some woman from GMTV (it was a while ago now). They were all in person though and much less exciting!
Yay Claire! And I'm jealous she made coffee for Johnny Depp!!!
