Top Five Film Quotes

Here are my top 5 film quotes (which I can remember at this time), just because I like lists:

1. I'm gonna kill him! I'm gonna finish him like a cheesecake!

2. Put the bunny back in the box.

 I really want to set this as the text notification tone on my phone. I mean I really want to. Rumour has it I recently spent half an hour (unsuccessfully) attempting to record it on my phone from a Youtube clip.


3. EVERYTHING said in National Treasure (1 and 2). 

Particularly when Nicholas Cage pretends to be English and starts yelling about haggis (truly excellent work, research interns!).


4. You know, I have a theory that hieroglyphics are just an ancient comic strip about a character named Sphinxy.

 I spend at least 15% of every day lamenting the fact that my life is not more like Withnail and I.

    Gosh I haven't seen a single one of those films. I really need to watch more. I've never seen star wars, or a bond film - so many 'classics' I've never seen! The last thing I saw at the cinema was Wall-E - how long ago was that - 5 or 6 years I think! I wish I did have a favourite line from a film, but I can't think of one!

    Withnail & I is a great film, my favourite line being "Get in the back of the van!" - from police to drunk Withnail :). P.S. found your blog last week and it's a lovely read.

    Oh my goodness!!! I ADORE Withal and I!!!!! Im so sad that I can quote the entire scene from "Soup? Why didn't I get any soup?" And much more of it!!! I also love 'balls to Monty' and anytime we travel on the train through Penrith, I say it like Withnail!!! X
